JHUNJHKA MADHYAMIK VIDYALAYA was established on 2nd February, 1968 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in Rural area. It is located in CHHATNA block of BANKURA district of West Bengal. The school consists of Grades from 5 to 10. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. The school is Non-Ashram type (Govt.) in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. Bengali is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in January. The school has Government building. It has got 10 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a office room for official work & a separate room for all the staffs. The school has not a Head Master, but a Teacher-In-Charge. The school has no boundary wall at this moment, but the authority is trying to make the boundary as soon as possible. The school is Provided and Prepared in School Premises providing mid-day meal. Now the school has made its own website in November,2017.
